AbstractLigand substitution occurs readily at room temperature upon mixing stoichiometric quantities of [Cu(phen)2]NO3 and free triphenylphosphine or diphosphines Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2(n = 1–3). The resultant cationic complexes [Cu(phen)(PP)]X are isolated as PF6- or NO3- salts in high yields. © 1988, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
