| Abstract | 20世紀上半葉是中國政治急劇變動的時代，也是現代高等教育和職業化的研究體系創建的時代。本文以社會科學中兩大分支學科社會學和民族學為例，探討以國立研究機構和教會大學為基礎而形成的兩種職業化的研究範式：一種為精英化的範式，強調對學術源流的史的考察和文獻材料的挖掘和考證，強調與傳統的銜接；一種強調現在和歷史的差異，強調田野調查以及社會服務。這兩種範式催生了關於國族想像的兩套迥然不同的理論體系，在這一時期關於民族身份認同的討論中相互輝映。本文著重從知識傳播的視角，梳理了德國民族志、美國芝加哥城市社會學以及英國功能主義人類學在形塑這兩種知識以及知識人形態中的影響，以期理解20世紀初期的政治社會變遷與知識系統構建之間的關聯。 |
