AbstractThe genus Dictyosporium is reviewed, based on examination of type specimens as well as new collections from various localities. Three new species, D. giganticum, D. nigroapice and D. tetraseriale, are described. Twenty two species are accepted in the genus, and their conidial morphology is iilustrated. The characters of the accepted species are tabulated and a taxonomic key is provided. Short comments are given to 16 Dictyosporium names which are considered unacceptable or doubtful.
