AbstractA case of brain stem glioma mimicking an extra-axial tumor was reported. Post-contrast MR images revealed an enhancement of the brain stem surface, indicative of leptomeningeal spread of an intra-axial tumor in spite of the abscense of abnormal signal intensity and swelling of the brain stem.
