| Abstract | Tobacco use is a serious problem in public health in the current society. Tobacco taxation is a viable solution to deal with this public health problem, however the impact of tobacco taxation is two-sided. This systematic review aims at identifying the impacts of tobacco taxation on tobacco control according to studies which were conducted in different countries and regions. PubMed was searched utilizing Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) as well as inclusion and exclusion standards were applied. Thirteen studies on tobacco taxation were reviewed. Some limitations of this review were mentioned as well. |
