AbstractThis paper addresses the challenging problem of designing an adaptive feedback strategy for the stabilization of a class of nonlinearly parameterized uncertain systems in discrete time. The nonlinear least squares (NLS) algorithm is applied to estimate the unknown parameters, and a sufficient condition is proposed to ensure the strong consistency of the estimator. Based on the NLS algorithm, the global stability of the system is achieved under the output feedback design. © 2014 TCCT, CAA.
