Abstract | Eosinophilic gastroenteritis (EG) is an uncommon and complex disease that affects the gastrointestinal tract. Patients have non-specific symptoms and the disease runs a varied course. We reported two cases of EG. One patient presented acutely, was treated and remained in remission while the other patient had a prolonged relapsing-remitting course. Diagnoses were made after a combination of imaging, histology and biochemical tests. Findings in ultrasound are correlated with computed tomography and histopathology. |
