AbstractThis paper surveys methods for drug delivery and discusses micro-/nano-devices for controlled drug delivery. The concept of a micro-robot for controlled drug delivery and micro-needles for Chinese acupuncture are also presented. The proposed micro-needles can reduce pain and provide an alternative for drug delivery to the Chinese acupuncture treatment.
