Abstract | Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have wide range of applications in nano-scale materials design and next
generation semiconductor devices. In the pipeline of device design, there exists a need for finding
another CNT structure, which has a different chiral vector and minimum volume difference, to replace
the current one. The computation complexity for direct searching is O(N2). Based on the reduction of
the searching space, an efficient method with O(N) is proposed in this work. This method also shows
good efficiency under different application cases. |
