AbstractAIM: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small, noncoding RNAs of ≍22 nucleotides that negatively regulate gene expression. They appear to play a role in the development/progression of many disorders, including inflammation, cardiovascular diseases and endothelial dysfunction.
