A discussion on the synergistic and harmonious integration of underground space with prime and sustainable features aboveground

Abstract

Underground space is conceived by most people as separated from nature. Bringing the good virtues of nature, predominantly natural light, sunshine, sky vision, wind, rain, greenery, suitably in certain way and proportion into underground space in a sustainable way would greatly enhance the quality of underground space. This paper discusses some proposals on the synergistic and harmonious integration of underground space with prime and sustainable features aboveground, including using Golden Ratio in urban design and city planning.

大多数人以为地下空间是从自然界中分离的。其实地上一定程度的自然光，阳光，天空的感觉，自然风，雨，绿化，是可以适当地引入地下空间的，把地下空间的质量大大地提高。本文讨论一些把地下空间与地上自然景物和人造美景的相互和谐连接方案，其中包括把「黄金比例」(Golden ratio) 应用在城市布局，和小区的地上与地下空间的相互和谐连接设计。
