AbstractWe theoretically design a rather simple device to realize the general quantum storage based on dc superconducting quantum interference device charge qubits. The distinct advantages of our scheme are analyzed in comparison with existing storage scenarios. More arrestingly, an easily controllable XY interaction has been realized in superconducting qubits, which may have more potential applications in addition to those in quantum information processing. The experimental feasibility is also elaborated. © 2005 The American Physical Society.
