Abstract | A simple model for the rotating two-fluid system with cylindrical symmetry is examined. Separable solutions for the rates of rotation are found. These solutions have a time-invariant spatial dependence of the rotation rates, whose overall scale {Mathematical expression} evolves with time according to {Mathematical expression}, where α is a constant determined by the mutual friction parameters. Experimental prospects are discussed. © 1985 Plenum Publishing Corporation. |
