Abstract | For solving the security problem during walker-assisted walking, a gait stability monitoring system was developed. The operating principle and hardware design scheme of this system were illustrated. The results of relevant calibrating experiments and clinical tests from the volunteers of walker-users showed that this new system has the advantages of high precision, real time and convenient operation and might be applied further in the rehabilitation clinics. |
