Abstract | The present construction stuation in the city of Xi'an is analyzed and the climatic as well as its geographic features are elaborated to present a summary of situation of the surrounding protection structures and their energy consumption. The indoor environment of an inhabited building in Xi'an is under investigation and its energy consumption is measured. The study above reveals the poor heat working performance and other problems esp. in cold winter. In addition, its heat consumption seriously exceeds the critcrion ser by the state. This also highhights an enomous need in energy thrift reform with its surrounding structures. |
