AbstractAn oscillatory phenomenon has been observed in a laser-induced photochemical reaction occurring in a degassed acetone or benzene solution of the complex [{Au[P(C6H4OMe-p)3]}2-(μ-C≡C)] after flash photolysis. It has been confirmed that the observed oscillation is due to the chemical reactions coupling with the photoacoustic effect.
