| Abstract | Two luminescent mix-capped trinuclear copper(I) acetylide complexes, [Cu 3(μ-dppm) 3(μ 3-η 1-C≡CC 6H 4OMe-p)(μ 3-η 1-C≡CC 6H 4OEt-p)]PF 6 (1) and [Cu 3(μ-dppm) 3(μ 3-η 1-C≡CC 6H 4OMe-p)(μ 2-η 1-C≡CC 6H 4NO 2-p)]PF 6 (2), have been synthesized and their photophysical and electrochemical properties studied. The X-ray crystal structures of 1 and 2 have also been determined. |
