Abstract | In this paper, the general hierarchical management pattern of mould manufacture industry is first introduced. Then, the construction principals of mould manufacturing grid architecture are analyzed. Based on these, a multilevel architecture of mould manufacturing grid suitable for the mould industry is proposed, and the characteristics of the architecture are analyzed. As one of the core components, a manufacturing information service middleware for this architecture is studied. To support the operation of the architecture, a collaborative pattern of grid nodes are designed and a collaborative schedule model of manufacturing grid are put forward. © 2010 IEEE. |
