AbstractBased on the weather data in Hong Kong (HK) for the year 1989 which is generally considered to be the typical weather year, a detailed simulation model for a PV-wall structure with different integration mode (with and without ventilation) is presented. The annual thermal and electrical behavior of a PV-wall in different orientations in HK can be analyzed and predicted. The influence of different integration mode on the annual power output and heat gain is discussed. Results show that different integration mode only has a little effect on the annual power output, but it has an obvious effect on the heat gain. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
