Abstract | To satisfy new requirements from process planning and allocation in E-manufacturing, based on an E-formalization scheme of manufacturing equipments, a new integrated method and its corresponding logic programming model for dynamic process planning and allocation were put forward. The model was called Capplet, and it could be implemented both by Java programs and dynamic Web pages. Supported by the parallel interaction between GA-based process allocation and variant process planning, Gantt-based collaborative process adjustment method provided a new solution for dynamic process allocation. Finally, the seamless integration between Capplet and real-time scheduling laid a foundation for manufacturing preparation in E-manufacturing. |
