AbstractA report on the fiber optical parametric amplifiers (OPA) with circularly-polarised pumps was presented. The polarisation dependence was obtained with a two-pump OPA using orthogonal circularly-polarised pumps (CP-OPA). The advantages provide an incentive for developing fibers suitable for maintaining the circular SOPs required for their proper operation.
