| Abstract | This talk sets forth the urgency for Hong Kong to address nuclear safety governance given the increasing number of nuclear power plants currently or soon to be in place in Guangdong China. Adopting a discourse approach, it identifies the stakeholder attitudes towards nuclear power and safety in Hong Kong and China. It then describes the current nuclear safety governance in Hong Kong. A stakeholder trust-based model for more effectively addressing the issues of nuclear safety in Hong Kong and the cross-border will be put forward. |
