AbstractA new class of transmultiplexers are designed with the filter responses spread in both the time and frequency domains. In contrast to design algorithms with passband flatness and stopband attenuation criteria, the new algorithm includes a time/frequency property. Transmultiplexers with five users and linear-phase property are experimentally constructed.
