AbstractThe nature of the university education system has been changing in response to various societal changes. The current situation in engineering education at the university level has four important faculty aspects including teaching, research, service, and administration. Many senior practitioners of the profession serve on advisory boards of many engineering departments to advise senior management and faculty members on various important issues of the departments. Government agencies, professional organizations, and related trade organizations should provide financial support in various forms for academicians to receive practical training.
