AbstractMajor findings from recent studies of oncogenes and growth factors in gynaecological neoplasms are reviewed in this article, with special emphasis on carcinomas of the ovary and endometrium. The significance of oncogenes and growth factors in carcinogenesis and tumour progression is discussed.
