AbstractThis article reviews five recent studies on preventing voice problems in vocally healthy student teachers and teachers. The differences in research design are discussed and suggestions for future studies are provided. A prevention study carried out at The University of Hong Kong also is reported. Preliminary results suggest that voice care information may be useful in preventing voice problems in teachers.
