| Abstract | This study was conducted to investigate risk factors of suicidal ideation of local disaster relief officials with a high bereavement rate. Through structured interviews and surveys following a devastating earthquake in China, a salutary effect of work engagement on grief over deaths of family members and suicidal ideation was revealed. |
