Dr Wan, Yi 万弋
Dr. Wan Yi received her B.Eng. degree in Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) from the Southern University of Science and Technology in 2016 and Ph.D. degree in MSE from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in 2021. She then worked with Prof. Lance Li as a Postdoc and currently as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Wan’s research interests focus on two-dimensional (2D) materials synthesis by chemical vapor deposition. Now several projects are ongoing including 1) Wafer-scale single-crystal 2D materials synthesis and mechanism study; 2) High-quality 2D materials synthesis and device fabrication; 3) Layer number controlled 2D materials synthesis. Research collaborations for various 2D applications are more than welcome.
