Professor Ouyang, Guang 歐阳光
Dr. Guang Ouyang got his bachelar degree in Theoretical Physics from Nanjing University in 2009. Afterwards he joined Hong Kong Baptist University for his PhD study from 2009 to 2013, working on neural mechanisms of brain response variability. After graduation, he worked as a post-doc researcher (2 years in HKBU, 2 years in Greifswald University) in the field of cognitive neuroscience. In 2017, Dr. Ouyang joined the University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Ouyang's research has been focused on studying the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive performance variability, by combining multiple levels brain imaging and behavior measurements. This research background gained him much experience on data analysis on diversified levels. His multi-level data analysis experience covers EEG/ERP, neuronal spikes, LFP (local field potential), EMG (Electromyography), eye-tracking data, facial expressions (action units), psychometric measurements, and various human behavior data.
