Short Biography:
Gaowei Chen is Tin Ka Ping Foundation Outstanding Young Professor and a tenured associate professor at the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. He currently serves as the head of the Academic Unit of Mathematics, Science, and Technology (MST), Faculty of Education. His research interests cover learning sciences, AI in education, dialogic teaching and learning, classroom discourse, video-based learning, professional development, learning analytics, and educational statistics. He is an associate editor of the Journal of the Learning Sciences and a recipient of the Research Output Prize and the Faculty Outstanding Young Researcher Award at the University of Hong Kong.
