Ms Mak, Wing Sze 麥詠詩
Vincci Mak is a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Landscape Architecture at the University of Hong Kong.
Mak received her architectural training and obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from the University of Southern California. She pursued her further studies in landscape architecture and received a Master in Landscape Architecture (MLA) degree from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University.
She has practised in both Hong Kong and London, with projects ranging from urban landscapes to large-scaled regional planning.
Mak is currently the Program Director of the Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Studies (BA(LS)) Program. She is an experienced design studio teacher, and has published the article titled “The Spark of Contemporary Landscape Creativity – The Foundation Landscape Design Studio in the University of Hong Kong” in the Landscape Architecture Frontiers journal in 2019. Mak is specialised in experiential learning, and “Shaping the Landscape” is a key teaching project she has in this pedagogy.
Mak received both the HKU Faculty of Architecture Teaching Award and the HKU Outstanding Teaching Award in 2021.
She is a Senior Fellow in Advance HE (Higher Education).
