Objectives
Inflammatory myopathies (IM) are a group of heterogeneous disorders with a broad spectrum of clinical phenotypes. Most pathological features of IM are contributed by chronic inflammation in the skeletal muscle, but the culprit that causes and substantiates the inflammation is still unknown.
