Objectives
L-Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid that involved in the synthesis of proteins, urea, and nitric oxide. Although it has been used as a health-boosting ingredient in daily supplementation, its beneficial effects in type 2 diabetes (T2D) remains controversial and studies on its association with T2D in Chinese population are also limited.
