Objectives
To understand the multidrug resistant Salmonella circulating in Hong Kong, we aim to (1) screen for colistin, ESBL and carbapenem resistant Salmonella in humans and foods; (2) determine the resistance genes; (3) sequence the genome of colistin resistant Salmonella and (4) evaluate the resistance mechanisms, evolution and transmission dynamics of the resistant genes and colistin resistant Salmonella
