Objectives
To assess the changes in (1) oral health behaviour and lifestyle, (2) oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) and oral and systemic health in periodontitis patients following motivational interviewing (MI) as an adjunct to periodontal therapy over 12 months, and (3) explore risk factors contributing to good or poor periodontal treatment responses.
