Objectives
This study aims to evaluate the spectrum of brain impairment and identify the types of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) mutations and the dystrophin isoforms affected that correlate to the more severe phenotype. We would also like to study the associated microstructural brain changes and the regulatory role of the circulating microRNAs to brain dysfunction in DMD.
