Objectives
1 Estimate the annual prevalence and incidence of clinically diagnosed autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and associated comorbidities in the four participating sites i.e. Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, and South Korea. 2 Investigate the effect of maternal modifiable risk factors on the risk of ASD and associated comorbidities in the offspring. 3 Investigate the effect of early childhood characteristics on the risk of development of ASD and associated comorbidities. 4 Develop and validate a predictive algorithm for ASD and associated comorbidities using machine learning.
