Objectives
Central nervous system (CNS) and extra-CNS solid tumors account for two-third of pediatric cancer. Recent application of multi-omic profiling revealed intertumoral heterogeneity that informs classification and treatment strategies. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) analysis, on the other hand, offers a non-invasive means to detect and track tumor-specific mutations. Our proposed study evaluates the utility of prospectively integrating these novel platforms with conventional diagnostics in pediatric CNS and solid tumors.
