Objectives
1) To develop a real-time contour-driven object tracking method for estimating teeth 6DoF smoothly in single-view selfie video captured by mobile cameras; 2) To develop a real-time virtual-real fusion method for visualizing photo-realistic simulated post-treatment teeth and face appearance in AR application; 3) To develop an optimization-based method that precisely estimates the pose of each tooth from multiple views by optimally fitting tooth edges extracted from input images and the projected contours of planned 3D tooth model to achieve high-precision tooth pose estimation for the purpose of treatment monitoring.
