Objectives
(1) To estimate the reproductive number in real-time throughout the epidemic, using a variety of data sources; (2) To estimate the hospital fatality risk and the symptomatic case fatality risk in real-time throughout the epidemic, using a variety of data sources; (3) To estimate the impact on the COVID-19 epidemic of control measures such as isolation, quarantine, school closures, travel restrictions, and other social distancing measures and behavioural changes.
