Objectives
1 To investigate the effects of bismuth drugs on the transcriptomic, proteomic and secretomic profiles of various P. gingivalis strains-infected host cells including oral/periodontal epithelial cells, endothelial cells, neuronal cells, macrophages and neutrophils. 2 To reveal the underlying signaling pathways involved in bismuth drug treatments of P. gingivalis-infected host cells. 3 To evaluate the regulating effects of micro-environmental factors like hemin levels on P. gingivalis-infected host cells during the treatments of bismuth drugs and related molecular mechanisms.
