1) To search for a battery-type negative electrode to construct an asymmetric TEC with increased thermal voltage and enhanced electrical discharge capacity; 2) To increase the active materials, tune the work function, and improve the surface wettability of the GO-based positive electrode to open the operating voltage window and shorten the thermal charging time
