Objectives
1 To develop stable, strongly luminescent gold(III)-TADF emitters including the tetradentate ones and examine their photophysical properties and materials application. 2 To develop the photochemistry of luminescent gold(III) complexes. 3 To study the excited state dynamics and photochemical reactivity of the [5dσ*6pσ] excited states of binuclear gold(I) complexes toward dehydrogenation reactions. 4 To prepare and study the reactivity of the binuclear Au(II)-Au(II) species photochemical generated from [Au2(diphosphine)2] 2+ and [Au2(bis-NHC)2]2+ complexes. 5 To develop new classes of cationic gold(III) theranostic agents.
