Objectives
1. To examine whether and how the mechanosensitive channel Piezo1 in adipocytes influences expression and release of adipokines; 2. To study whether adipocyte-selective deletion of Piezo1 affects metabolic dysfunction and obesity-related inflammatory responses. 3. To explore the role of Piezo1 in the modulation of adiponectin release by 3 polyunsaturated fatty acid or enriched-diet.
