Objectives
To understand the anomalous lattice dynamics and phonon couplings of PbTe thermoelectrics at elevated temperatures 2. To obtain the phonon power spectra of PbTe under hydrostatic pressures from IXS measurements and DFT calculations 3. To develop new strategies for enhancing thermal energy conversion efficiency based on phonon engineering
