Objectives
1 To evaluate the effectiveness of SMCM when implemented among mental health clients at Integrated Community Centres for Mental Wellness in Hong Kong, using an RCT design. The specific hypothesis is: clients in the high-fidelity SMCM group will experience higher levels of personal recovery, as well as improved hope, self-efficacy, perceived strengths, quality of life, and symptoms reduction relative to their counterparts in a control group incorporating an attention placebo. 2 To qualitatively examine the major therapeutic ingredients that have impacts on clients’ recovery outcomes and the fidelity features of SMCM that facilitate successful implementation of the case management system.
