Objectives
1 To investigate the correlation between mitochondrial impairment and marginal graft injury both in clinical transplantation cohort and rat liver transplantation model using small-for-size fatty liver graft 2 To study the role and regulating mechanism of mitochondrial function and biogenesis on marginal liver graft injury through a series of in vivo (transgenic mice models) and in vitro experiments 3 To explore the potential therapeutics to attenuate hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury by promoting mitochondrial function and biogenesis in animal models
