Objectives
1) Develop a novel chemical-biological process with coagulants-facilitated sedimentation and enhanced sludge hydrolysis to achieve the goals of high nutrient removal efficiencies, energy-saving and resource utilization in wastewater treatment; 2) Optimize the conditions and operations for the processes of chemically-enhanced sedimentation, sludge fermentation and organic hydrolysis, sludge-liquor separation and biological denitrification by the fermented sludge liquor; 3) Integrate the new wastewater treatment system with the side-stream sludge hydrolysis and carry out experimental tests in continuous operation to evaluate the treatment performance, effectiveness and robustness of the new system.
