Objectives
1 To describe the trends in oral health status of students from childhood to early adulthood in Hong Kong using indicators of caries experience and periodontal health. 2 To compare the rate of change in oral health status from childhood to adolescence with that from adolescence to early adulthood using indicators of caries experience and periodontal health in Hong Kong. 3 To investigate the association between trends in oral health status (caries experience and periodontal health) and adiposity status (general, central, and peripheral) in Hong Kong students. 4 To explore whether oral health status in early adulthood is associated with the present and past adiposity status (general, central, and peripheral), adjusting for childhood and adolescent oral health status and behaviour, and socio-demographic characteristics.
