Objectives
1 To explore the optical properties of monolayers and multilayers of TMDCs (MoS2, MoSe2, WS2 and WSe2 ) with photoluminescence spectroscopy and absorption spectroscopy in the nonlinear regime. 2 To experimentally study the interplay of spin and valley degrees of freedom in 2D TMDCs. 3 To explore the potential applications of 2D TMDCs in spintronics, particularly in non-magnetic semiconductor based spintronics.
